RABBIT LEARNS HOW TO MEASURE
By Darin Phillips, Illustrated by Patrice Aguilar
This is the second of five books that teach numbers. In this book Rabbit is going to learn and do even more fun number things, such as:
- * See how much she has grown (she wants to be bigger)
- * Play 'space games' (for example, tallest vs. shortest and top vs. middle vs. bottom)
- * Build and measure things
Through six short stories where Rabbit the Dog learns about the symbols that represent numbers, children will start to gain mastery in recognizing numbers and what they stand for. Rabbit wants to measure things - so will your child. Rabbit’s curiosity will become infectious. Rabbit learns through building things. Rabbit learns about shapes and colors. (“If Rabbit can do it, so can I!”) And, finally, Rabbit practices going to school, which helps remove the fear of the unknown.
