RABBIT LEARNS HOW TO USE NUMBERS
By Darin Phillips, Illustrated by Patrice Aguilar
This is the fourth of five books that teach numbers. In this book Rabbit is going to show what she knows by using her memory:
- * More fun with food
- * Go shopping
- * Create number symbols and a number line
Through five short stories Rabbit the Dog applies what she has learned about numbers. First, Rabbit puts her food in the shape of the number it represents. Then she goes on a scavenger hunt for numbers in the store. (“If Rabbit can do it, so can I!”) Rabbit proves that she knows which numbers are larger versus smaller while shopping. Rabbit uses stickers to show she understands when she counts. And finally, she turns from student into teacher. Rabbit likes to show others what she has learned!
